Q. Is a modular home
constructed the same way as a traditional house?
A. Our modular homes are constructed using the same building
codes which apply to traditional stick frame houses. Exterior walls can
be 2x4 or 2x6 construction / Roofs can be a variety of slopes and
styles.
Q. Is their a cost
savings to build modular versus traditional stick building?
A. Time and Certainty - The modular home is completed quickly
thereby savings months of mortgage payments. Since the home is designed
and built off-site, many variables such as weather and labor shortages
are avoided.
Q. Why are their not
many modular homes in this area?
A. Here in the Northeast many homeowners prefer two story homes
and demand quality structures that can withstand our weather and our
tastes. Heritage Modular understands what New Englanders look for in a
house and we work with you to design a house that you can call your
home.
Q. I have seen modular
homes in the past - how do Heritage Modular's homes compare?
A. Heritage Modular goes the extra step to customize each modular
home to its owners style and taste. Built-in cabinets, beadboard
wainscot, and ceramic tile showers are some of the features we include.
Q. If I want to pursue
working with Heritage Modular where do I begin?
A. Send us an email or call us to set up your first appointment.
